Goulding Dancers 2ND PLACE at the 2019 World Irish Dance Championships!
Our goal is for all our students to experience the joys of Irish Step dancing. We work closely with each student to help them gain their full potential, both as dancers and as individuals. We encourage hardwork and determination while promoting and fostering friendships. We strive to give dancers a strong foundation in music, rhythm, and movement while allowing them to advance at their own pace. We cater to dancers by providing small class sizes and an individual approach to learning. We make it a priority to maintain a teaching environment that is supportive, focused, and fun!

Deirdre Goulding Blomberg began her dancing career at the age of 4. Over the next 18 years, she had a highly successful career as a competitive dancer. Under the tutelage of Michael and Noreen Smith, she won 10 New England Championships, four North American Championships, and multiple top ten finishes at the World Championships including a third place finish. As a team dancer, she also won multiple New England Championships and North American Championships along with multiple top 10 finishes in the World Championships. After an illustrious competitive career, Deirdre joined the original tour of the Grammy Award winning show Riverdance as it was taking the world by storm! She was one of a few select dancers from the show asked to perform on live television at the Grammy's and the Kennedy Honors. Deirdre has danced with other Grammy award winning artists including the Chieftains and Cherish the Ladies. During her touring days, Deirdre danced on world famous stages including Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall. After leaving Riverdance, Deirdre decided to focus on sharing the joys of Irish step dancing with her students. Her students are now building their own success stories! Deirdre celebrates all of the successes of her students, whether it be mastering a simple dance move for the first time or placing at local, regional, national, or world competitions. Goulding School students have followed in Deirdre's footsteps and have performed with Riverdance, the Chieftains, and Cherish the Ladies. Deirdre takes tremendous pride in the development of her students, both as dancers and as young men and women.
